On December 1^st, 2010 we celebrated our 50^th day in the kindergarten. This day marked the end of the orientation time in our new class. We walked into our kindergarten area through the door which was decorated with colored paper strips and number 50.

All day long we worked with the number 50; we walked from 1 to 50 on numbered footsteps, counted out 50 items and grouped them by 10s.

In our English classes that day we counted up to 50, made 50th day party hats, we had a number and color treasure hunt and found out how many different colors there where in 50 M&M’s and  we made a color chart, the best part was when we got to eat the M&M’s at the end of the lesson.

This is the building where our Kindergarten is located,you can see our swimming pool building to the right of our main building.

Our school is  located in one of the most beautiful areas of Istanbul, right next to the entrance of the Black Sea in Tarabya.

From our library we have an incredible view on the Bosphorus and the Black Sea have a look at the pictures !

Our aim is to share with you  what we are doing at Istek Kemal Atatürk you will read about some of our activities, festivities, field trips and anything exciting that is happening in our little world.
