We played a game in class to write funny stories.
We all wrote our own story but we wrote a sentence then passed it on for someone else to write another sentence.
Some of the stories were very funny.

You could play this game.
You need: paper, pencil, friends
The rules:
Each person writes a sentence then folds over the paper and passes it to the person on their left.
Then the next person writes a sentence and passes on again.

Sentence 1: A place
Sentence 2: A person
Sentence 3 Another person
Sentence 4 Something happens
Sentence 5 Then something else happens

5A and 5B have come up with the following rules for our blog. We ask that you keep the rules when posting or commenting.

1. Please write in English.

2. Only add your first name.

3. Do not name a person in a photograph.

4. Do not write something that is unkind, rude or would upset someone.

If you can think of any other rules that would be useful please add them in comments below.

A new year and what better way to start it than with a new blog. Welcome to our blog Grade 5, during 2011 we will be adding things to the blog. It will be a place where we can share ideas, plan things and communicate with each other.

I will be adding some rules to the blog in the next few days that we expect everyone to follow so that blogging is a safe,  fun and interesting experience for everyone.
